Metin Kortak began his journey at Rhymetec in 2017 as the Chief Information Security Officer, where he provides greater strategic direction among Rhymetec’s security and compliance teams and across the business as a whole. He started his career in IT Security and gained extensive knowledge of compliance and data privacy frameworks such as SOC; ISO 27001; PCI; FEDRAMP; NIST 800-53; GDPR; CCPA; HITRUST; and HIPAA. Metin joined Rhymetec with the goal of building a Data Privacy and Compliance-as-a-Service offering. Under his leadership, these programs have grown to help more than 200 start-up and SaaS-based clients globally, allowing Rhymetec to be recognized as an innovative and industry-leading SaaS security service provider. Metin splits his time between his homes in California and New York City, and in his free time, he enjoys traveling, exercising, and spending quality time with his friends.
